Vertical Shadows

It was getting dark, so I turned on the Evil Bedside Lamp (more of that in a couple of days) and closed the vertical blinds.

Up until now the lamp, in its old guise as the Good Bedside Lamp, had not thrown a shadow, but it's amazing what a touch of evil can produce.

Tracy of Hey Harriet has some spectacular shadow shots on her blog, so please go and take a look.

I have had a somewhat interrupted week, but now it's the homestretch to the BrisStyle Indie Designers Market next Saturday.  So much to do ... so little time ...

Have a wonderful Sunday.

The blind and resultant vertical shadows gives an interesting perspective - of what? For now I se a row of flags...or perhaps a marina full of sailboats and their sails. The angular look I like, the crisp geometry upright. Nice capture, and good louk at the Market next week!

Very interesting shadow shot. Now I'm so curious what makes this lamp so evil!! I'm going to sign on as a follower just to find out. Happy SSS!

I love this one, how cool is that shade, can't wait to see it...but the design it leaves in shadows is remarkable and fun!!!

Have a great week ahead...I just love your children's clothes, they remind me of the stuff that my Mom made for me as a child!

I like this, the blind and the shadows. They're always so moody in the late part of the day, you never know what will turn up.
