It's March - who would believe it? And what a busy month it will be. We fly down to Sydney on Wednesday for our daughter's wedding the next day. We'll be there for a few days, catching up with family and friends before flying home to be welcomed by several deadlines. The weekend following our return will be the first anniversary of
BrisStyle. Our little band of artisans has grown from about a dozen members who attended the first meeting to the current membership of nearly 60, and new applications arrive on an almost daily basis. So for our anniversary meet-up, it has been decided that we make will a small gift to be won by another member in a lucky dip system. Eek! I'll only have a couple of days to get my mind around that one. As I make children's clothes, I can hardly take something from my stock. Still, I'll worry about that one next week.
Today it's
Hey Harriet's Shadow Shot Sunday and here are my contributions for this week. Both shots were taken in the back yard yesterday afternoon. The first shot of the garden table and chair produced a shadow which reminded me of a bicycle.
This is our bougainvillea which we keep contained in a pot, otherwise it would take over the whole yard. Mind you, I have deep suspicions that the roots have found their way out of the bottom of the pot and are roaming the neighbourhood, scaring little children and dogs.
Anyhow, do yourself a favour and hop over to Hey Harriet's blog and feast your eyes on some truly beautiful shadow shots.

Those are equisite! particularly the first one! Wow! Terrific shot! so delicate!
The top shadow does resemble a bicycle. Nice one. The plant in the second photo reminds me that spring is coming to the Northern Hemisphere soon. I bet you're looking forward to cooler weather. ;-)
Am craving a warm weather now! It's 10 to 01:00am here in Sweden and our temp is -11 below zero...
Help bring me downunder... specially I see your photos. Perfect but made me envious!
Have a fun day!

That really does resemble a bicycle! Cool!
It looks like your shadowy goodness for this week could pass for Sepia Scenes. I love it. And the bougainvillea is similar to the color of our azaleas that are in bloom right now.
I like the garden chairs shot...nice lacey effect...and...how exciting re the wedding..hope you have a fabulous time and return w photos!
Happy Wedding day to your daughter! How exciting!
Beautiful shadow this week...love how soft & pretty it is!
{Beautiful flowers too....we hardly think that they'd be scaring children though....maybe delighting them!}
Have a perfectly wonderful week!
It does like like a bike! That's cool. I love the pretty flower shadows! You're going to Sydney again? Seems like you just returned from there. Enjoy the wedding & take lots of pics to share. Oh yes, the Brisstyle pressie swap...I'd better get thinking about that! See you there! :)

Wonderful!
The first one really does look like a bicycle. How odd!
Enjoy yourself! Beautiful shadow shots.
It does look like a bicycle shadow! Good one. Glorious flowers too.
Those ironwork garden chairs can always be counted on for great shadows!!
Great SSs! The first one looks really cool and the bougainvillea is just beatuiful!!
Very clever bicycle shadow. Doesn't look like your garden table's been for any rides lately ;) Reminds me of Hey Harriet's Mr Percival casting a penguin from his rear. It's amazing what funny shapes can be cast from an object or creature.
Oh thanks for reminding me about the gift for our next BrisStyle meet-up. I have the same problem, I only do pictures for children. Double EeK!
beautiful bougainvillea. sweet wedding pics. lovely grandchildren. really pretty little girl dresses - reminds me of Lilly . . . . .
