I am running late this week with Shadow Shot Sunday, as we are in the middle of Easter celebrations with the whole family, including the Sydney contingent who flew up to sunny (right!) Brizzy for a big family get-together.
It was Mr Fudge's birthday on Thursday, so part of the Sydney family (daughter, son-in-law, four year-old granddaughter and two year-old grandson) arranged a surprise outing for him to the Ipswich Railway Museum. I must admit it was all a bit of a daze for me until my eyes lit on this ancient sewing machine.
Ah, that's more like it - although I'm so pleased my own machine is a little more user-friendly. Now if you are filled to the limit with Easter eggs and would like to see some wonderful shadow shots, why not pop over to Hey Harriet's blog for a feast for the eyes.
I will post something on our marvellous Easter when I have had about a week's sleep.

Great shadow shot and a great old machine! Does remind me of my sewing days! Have a great weekend -- or what's left of it for you guys!
That's too funny! You visit the Rail Museum and you go ga-ga over an old sewing machine! Some nice shadows! I was at that museum a couple of months ago and I don't remember seeing the sewing machine. I don't remember much at all about the visit really. Wasn't my cup of tea. Must be a boysy thing! Enjoy the rest of your Easter celebrations with your family. And enjoy a nice long rest once it's all over :)
Neat sewing machine. Glad you could find something interesting in that railway museum:)
So, why is the sewing machine in a railway museum? You've got us stumped!! (thanks for the hillarious comments!) Happy Easter!
It must have been a pleasant surprise finding an old sewing machine at a Rail Museum. I guess they needed something for the ladies to look at ;) I find the train museum extremely boring, especially after 2 or more visits!
great shadows
your family celebrations sound wonderful!
I like the sewing machine and its shadow. ;-) Looking forward to seeing photos of your holiday celebration with the family. I can imagine that you all had a fun time, including the birthday guy.
Best,
Paz
what a lovely old machine - great shot too! I must admit to really enjoying the rail museum! Glad Tony had a happy day and that your weekend was full of family fun! (and choccie!)
what could this ancient sewing machine be doing in a railway museum! :)
Hope you had a good Easter celebration with your family. Thanks too for your comments on my blog. it made my day!
Love the shot... ut this one sends the shivers ever since i managed to put a sewing machine needle right through my finger at the tender age of 8!!
This is what I call a cutie shot for the SS...
