Christchurch Shadows

The weather has been so unpredictable over the past week and as a consequence I have had to rely on some images from our recent trip to New Zealand for this week's Shadow Shot Sunday.

Please visit Hey Harriet for some wonderful shadow shots.

Especially like the 2nd shot with that big bunch of fall leaves and the kid in it nearly chin high! Looks like an awesome place to visit!

That bridge has a great style as it sits over the water. The leafy shade adds such style to the river bank.

As for leafy fun, your grandkids are enjoying one of the highlights (for a kid) of Autume. Rolling around in a big pile of dried foliage is fun, a treat, the best of the season says I (a few decades later :>)

It seems strange to see autumn shots when we are so thankfully experiencing spring/summer!

Playing in all those crispy leaves looks like fun! Crunch crunch crunch!

The weather has been odd this week. I can't keep up the changes! And I'm not enjoying this cold windy change one little bit! Yuck!

When I first saw the shadow shots, I said, "That looks like Autumn." Then I thought, "I think it is Autumn in New Zealand." That is a favorite time of the year in my own life, and it will be here in Wisconsin USA soon enough. Nice offering today, I like the dancing shadows on the river bank.

Peace.

nice shadows - I recognise the park from other photos on the net - it wasn't one of the places we visited when we were in Christchrch.

What a fabulous bridge...and fun playing in the autumn litter left by falling leaves...seems strange to me though, I can't quite grasp your Autumn and our spring...it just doesn't seem right...but I'll take it just the same!

Been pickin' juicy red strawberries all day...mmmmmm...
