Here is my second (and last!) item for Blue Week. My son's best friend and his wife have just returned from Taiwan with their newly adopted baby son. I had planned to give them the pair of Trainer Baby Booties which I had on sale in my Etsy shop, but they were sold at the exhibition I am participating in this weekend, so I had to quickly make another pair.
I will make a couple of matching bibs and perhaps a small nappy bag to complete the set. I can't wait to meet the new little man in their lives.
Oh, and the blue pants I made earlier this week also sold at the exhibition, which was a bonus!
And now on to Week Two - Yellow.

oh, they're gorgeous!!! I love the little trains! so, so sweet :)
(The exhibition sounded successful? well done!)
Wow Robyn, I LOVE these!!! I really love the way the train picture continues across the shoes. I think I also have a very big soft spot for anything train related, as my son is absolutely train mad - and has been since he was 12 months old. Glad to hear the exhibition went so well. Must be a lovely feeling! Cheers, Bec.
Thanks for the lovely comments, girls. I am married to a locomotive-aholic, so it was impossible to avoid this particular fabric!
oh! these are gorgeous! what a stunning colour!
I was just looking at your little shoes on etsy. do you ever make them in 00? (I believe 0-3 months, your smallest size, is 0, isn't it?)
Hi Melanie
Thank you for your very kind comments. Unfortunately I do not make them any smaller than 0-3 months, as they become almost impossible to manoeuvre on the sewing machine if they are any smaller. However, babies do grow!
yes, but dolls don't ;)
I really do love your little shoes, they're by far the nicest ones I've found! Don't suppose you'd consider selling either a pattern, or a cut out kit of fabric, in a size 00, that I could hand stitch?
