Shadow Shot Sunday # 76

I came across this image of the Colosseum which I took on our recent trip (sorry ... haven't had time to shoot any local shadows since we've arrived home!) and was intrigued by the two shadows coming from different directions. 'Tis a puzzle.

Have you seen the wonderful Shadow Shot Sunday images on Hey Harriet's blog yet? Do yourself a favour and take a look here at what all the fuss is about - you won't be disappointed.

The tree shadows are great - I see an inverted pair of legs running. But that's me! The shadows are so artistic, they almost rival the antiquity you originally set out to see...

I agree with Ralph but could not say it so well! Beautiful and I am jealous-I would love to go there!

Oh, my!!! This is absolutely incredible! It's as thought the shadow of the trees are about to 'capture' those people.

I wonder if those people were feeling any goosebumps when they walked into the claws of the ghostly tree monster. I'm sure there are plenty of unsettled spirits drifting about the Colosseum. Such an eerie place.

Yes - that is strange that they are coming from different angles! Spooky even! Ah! Roma - love, love that city - and this is a wonderful shot!

I'm enjoying your lovely european shadows Robyn. You found some creepy looking shadows there. I imagine if you stuck around long enough you would have witnessed those claw shadows scooping up the people and carting them away. Maybe. Depending on how much wine you had consumed ;)
